Background
I am Zach Ghosoph. I am a current web development student at CART. My future ambitions are to explore areas of physical science and computer science in my higher education. I would like to be able to apply my knowledge later in areas like research and development.
Hobbies
Some of my hobbies include gaming as well as teaching myself more about programming and physical sciences. I find joy in figuring out things, and I think this is part of the reason why I decided to study web development and game design. I think that these subjects are great in this regard as programming is problem solving.
Accomplishments and Awards
Some accomplishments and awards that I have received include: Principal's honor roll: 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024. I have also taken multiple honors classes including: Honors Biology, Chemistry, and Math. I am currently enrolled in AP physics. I have taken AP courses like physics, chemistry, and calculus.
Post-Secondary Plan
Within the next few years I would like to be working towards an undergraduate degree. My plan is to begin at Clovis Community College, and transfer to a UC. I would like to maintain high performance in order to maximize my chances of finding a good graduate school. I would eventually like to study more advanced physical science in a graduate school.
CART CTE Skills
At CART, I have gained important skills such as communication, team oriented mindset, and goal planning, among others. I have improved my ability and comfortability in communicating with others. I have also learned the importance of task delegation, through personal experience. Many of the projects that we completed at CART required work to be split into different tasks based on personal skills. It was important to make sure people were working within their skill range.
